Velvet CARE has reduced water consumption by 45% per ton of tissue, redesigned tissue boxes to minimize storage space, eliminated foil and plastic elements, switched to water soluble varnishes and incorporated FSC® certified cardboard. It has applied for B-Corp certification, initiated the ESG report following GRI standards and  obtained a sustainability linked investment loan.
